Thomasville Holiday Wedding

On December 20th, Meredith and Adam enjoyed a beautiful holiday wedding with some lovely seasonal decorations. Their ceremony took place at Hillside Baptist Church in Thomasville, and was followed by a reception at 12 West Main in Thomasville.

Poor little guy. Don't worry, he cheers up later...

The staff of Rosa Mae's catering is a friendly, supportive bunch:

Scott and I thought we'd call this one, "The Dilemma."

Empty seats mean our lucky bride and groom are off enjoying themselves!

Here's our sad little ring bearer. I told you he'd cheer up!

Congratulations you two! Despite the cold and the rain, you were both so wonderful to photograph on your wedding day. Scott and I wish you a lifetime of happiness.

Fall Winston-Salem Arts District Engagement Shoot

I shot this engagement session with Bridget and Dave in November, and was fortunate to have an adorable third subject in Bridget's petite pooch. These two are fantastic together, and I can't wait until their wedding next May!

Bridget was a member of various choruses growing up, so it seemed fitting to pose with these high school chorus members lined up outside of The Stevens Center for their big performance.

We happened to shoot these pics on November 9th. This image captures the historic headline of the local free paper.

Dawn and Brian's Kernersville Wedding and Millenium Center Reception

You might remember Dawn and Brian from their engagement portraits here: Greensboro Bicentennial Garden Engagement Shoot

These two are the coolest of couples and the best of friends. Needless to say- their wedding was a beautifully styled affair and a blast to shoot.

Dawn and her bridal party prepared for the day at the G. Carlyle Salon conveniently located inside the Millennium Center. An empty shelf proved to be a fine place to display Dawn's accessories for the day.

Dawn selected colorful, fun dresses for half of her bridesmaids, and accented the look with maids draped in sleek, silver gowns.

The couple exchanged vows in a scripture-based service at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Kernersville. Someone looks excited!

No bridal party members were harmed in the taking of this picture...

Traffic was really light that evening, I promise!

The greatest reception entrance EVER!

Now might be a good time to mention that Teah Chin was the fabulous makeup artist responsible for Dawn's flawless face.

And who wouldn't want to be serenaded by your new husband during your first dance?

After dinner, the bride, her mother, and the groom's mother treated their husbands to a stirring rendition of "Love You I Do" from the movie Dreamgirls.

Needless to say, the performance was a fantastic success!
The 300 guests partied into the night at the gorgeous Millenium Center in downtown Winston-Salem. The entire day was flurry of fun, excitement, and laughter- surely a prediction of a marriage filled with the same for Dawn and Brian. Congratulations, ya'll!
